I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Startbahn in Sept 2024
Interview
Slow and unclear expectations. Got into final stage of interview with the CEO where I thought I got to answer the questions well. Still, I was rejected for unknown reasons.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Startbahn (Tokyo) in Feb 2022
Interview
Please think twice before appearing for this interview, Because anyways they would reject you.
Also consider having an interview with CIO as the first round, because thats the issue zone and you can save time and effort by not attending other rounds.
You will have two interviews before that, but the CIO would reject you because he does not have idea of QA and asks questions and scenarios based on Development and expects you to answer.
You will not be able to relate to the interview at all and it would be a bad experience.
Round 1 with Senior engineer is really good, you will learn many concepts.
Round 2 with QA manager is also good, you would have good discussion around test strategies.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Startbahn (Dhaka) in Mar 2022
Interview
I applied online via LinkedIn. The application screening took quite a while. A recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn DM, then I was invited for an interview.
Round 1: Interview with the QA Manager (Casual chit chat. He is a very friendly Indian guy and I really enjoyed my whole conversation during the interview.)
Round 2: Technical Interview with the CTO (Had to prepare one sample test case for a dummy API endpoint, apart from that just casual chit chat. Really enjoyed this one as well. He is very humble and friendly.).
Final Round: Interview with the CEO & Business Development Dept. Manager, Executive Officer. (This round went mind-blowingly well and I instantly decided to join the company. Both of them are so humble as a person.)
The only con of the whole process is this is way too slow compared to the other interview processes I attended. The review process for each round should be expedited for a better candidate experience.
