Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Stardock Systems
Interview
The interview was roughly an hour long with a team member from HR, a lead programmer, and a Senior Producer. For the first interview of an associate position, it was a lot more technical than they let on, and as such a lot of questions caught me off guard. Bouncing questions between the interviewers also made it feel somewhat unprepared.
I was told at the end that they would follow up with me regardless of the outcome, but they never responded after the interview.
Applied online and got a Skype interview. Interviewers asked about resume and previous jobs, some technical questions mostly 3d math related.
After the interview I was given a 4 hour take home programming assignment: program tetris according to the specifications using a provided framework. I completed and sent in the project and sent a follow up email again after a couple of days, but I never got any further response from the company.

Question 1
What was one problem you encountered in a previous job and how did you overcome it?
I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stardock Systems
Interview
Applied online with a resume and a cover letter. Eventually got on a Skype call with them, which included two HR reps and two technical programmers. Technical programmers asked general questions about my experience with coding, what my past internships were like, how I got into game dev, etc. HR was the typical what sets you apart, tell us a time you were faced with hardship, and are you okay with Stardock being a dog-friendly company (nice!)
Resulted in a technical coding interview set up. While the Skype interview was great and prompt, the programming test was messed up twice (involving the tech "forgetting" to send the test at two separate dates). Once I received the test after the third attempt, I was given 4 hours to program Tetris to the best of my abilities. It was kind of a fun challenge to be honest (only being given a png for a tile image and that's about it), except for the fact that the sent code was buggy with dll and compiler errors that sucked up 30-60 min just there. Needless to say I didn't finish, but sent them what I had to show I had attempted.
