The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Standing on Giants in Jul 2024
Interview
First a 30 minute screening call with the head of engineering, then a take home tech test. Lastly a final interview with the CEO, HR and the head of engineering.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Standing on Giants (London, England)
Interview
After the application, I received an email, without any other interaction, where I was asked to complete an assignment, then I received an invitation for a 25-minute interview. After that, I received an email informing me that I wasn't selected to continue the selection process.
I asked for some sort of feedback about my assignment and I received a standard-copy/paste answer without any further explanation.
The assignment was related to the company activities, and not extremely difficult but it required time to study the business and provide an adequate answer.
As mentioned on here by others, not a nice process - dodged a bullet! A corporate, robotic experience, where you're not really respected or considered. I was told I'd be informed no later than X, but constantly had to chase and be ignored. They put you through 2 rounds of intense questioning taking quite a bit of your time, and send you a 2-lined templated rejection email with no feedback. I was interrogated by two female employees who advised me they had 3 sections worth of questions to get through. I felt both seemed like they didn't really want to be there, and one was almost robotic/monotone. I was asked around 20-30 corporate styled questions, and as others have said - no consideration for the fact that their questions aren't relevant to people who haven't done "Community Management" before. Relentless amount of questions which is fine, but it doesn't reflect well when they're just hammering out corporate styled questions written down from a sheet. Avoid unless you want to be miserable! Luckily had a back-up offer elsewhere, but to those who don't this process can leave you feeling terrible.
