I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Squire Patton Boggs (London, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview consisted of a range of motivational, competency-based and scenario-based questions. There was a question where you could tell everything you want regarding your journey (why law, why Squire Patton Boggs). In the end, there was an opportunity to ask questions.
I recently went through the interview process for an IT Support Analyst role, which lasted about three weeks and included multiple interview rounds. While the team was professional during the interviews, the overall experience was frustrating due to scheduling and communication issues.
My final interview was canceled at the last minute due to internal scheduling conflicts, and I was told I would be contacted later that week. After waiting without updates, I ultimately had to follow up myself, at which point I was informed that another candidate had already been selected.
I understand that hiring decisions can change, but clearer communication and more timely updates would have made a big difference. Candidates invest a significant amount of time and energy into multi-round interviews, and a more structured and transparent process would improve the experience.

Interview
Virtual interview with senior leadership and one member of the team. Was competency based and they definitely had a set list of questions they were working through rather than having a conversation.
I actually felt like it went quite badly as interviewer seemed like not wanting to engage in conversation or build rapport and was very focused on getting through the questions but I did get an offer.

Tell us about a time you’ve worked with difficult people? Have you worked with certain software before? How do you prioritise?
