Question 1
General question about how you are a fit for the job?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Squarespace
Interview
Quick efficient responses from hiring managers in US. Really friendly phone interview at first. Lots of ludicrous questions, 'if you were a crayon, what colour crayon would you be and why?"
This was followed with an online writing and problem solving test that you have 24 hrs to complete.
The third step was an in person interview. Two managers, one was quite rude and typed on their laptop all the time, clearly bored from the beginning. The other asked questions about the company, they asked 80 per cent questions about themselves, I got the impression that I was meant to just flatter them. They really are obsessed with being cool, which came across as a bit pathetic. They use words like 'landing party' and don't use words like training or conventional corporate words. It came across as ultra corporate as a result, a bit McDonalds to be honest. I left the interview really deflated and not interested in working with them.
I clearly wasn't a match.
