I applied online. I interviewed at Sprout Wellness Solutions in Mar 2021
Interview
-Applied through Angel List in May 2020
-Application was accepted Oct 2020, to which I sent a follow up asking when we could schedule a phone call. No response
-Received a phone interview request in March 2021, at 9pm. It hadn't even been a full day since that email and the interviewer decided to send me a calendar invite setting a time for 3pm that day. I declined and gave him an alternate time. So they can ghost me for months but I have to reply in less than 12 hours?
-Did the interview and heard back nothing, maybe I'll hear back in 2022.
The interviewer was really nice, so I guess that's a plus. I'm not sure what happened with my application and why they thought it was okay to get back to me almost a year later and not even apologize or explain why it took so long.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic interview questions then a technical question where they watch you code.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sprout Wellness Solutions in Sept 2020
Interview
Avoid this company if you can. Ghost people after the interview process. Followed up a few times, no reply. They promised to get back to me in a week, but haven't heard anything from them for 2-3 months now?
One interviewer literally told me that he copied code from stack overflow and just used it. All the developers on the team are new, all joined the company within the past year. Everyone left shortly after based on what they told me.
Don't apply/work for them if you can. Pay is quite low as well from what I heard.
2 rounds of interviews.
- 1st one 1hr on technical
- 2nd one 2hrs with 3 different interviewers (1hr on technical, 30min x 2 on behaviour/cultural fit)
Interview questions [1]

1. Given a string of brackets ("{}", "[]", "()"), see if they are balanced.
2. Given an array of numbers, find the max sum of 5 continuous numbers.
3. What do you know about design patterns? Have you implemented it at work?
4. What's deadlock? What's a transaction in SQL?
5. Unit tests
Interviewed at my university for an internship. The interview was roughly 45 minutes.
I was interviewed by the main product manager and the current student in the position which was very beneficial because I could ask questions on the job to see their point of view.
Overall, was a very smooth and relaxed interview with mainly behavioural questions.
