I applied online. I interviewed at Springfield Sign (Springfield, MO) in May 2021
Interview
I was interviewed by someone from HR, and someone who would be directly managing my work. Both ladies were super nice and really professional! I felt very at-ease and was able to speak with them about my work and qualifications without feeling overwhelmed or pressured. I felt comfortable asking them questions, and they were happy to answer. All of their questions were pretty standard interview questions, and they were passionate about the company. I left feeling positive about the company and the job!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What did you do between (job) and now? What were your job duties at (job)? Do you have any experience with Corel Draw? Do you have experience working in a team? At your last job, how many projects did you usually work on at one time?
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Springfield Sign (Springfield, MO) in Jul 2019
Interview
Was called in for a 1st interview, interviewed with HR and manager of the Router Dept. Interview went well, was there for 2 hours. They were both nice and asked the usual round of questions. Had a tour of the shop and discussed variety of subjects including salary
I was called back for a 2nd interview. This time it was HR and 3 others from various departments. Went through a variety of questions and felt the interview went very well.
Was called back at the end of the week and was informed they went with another candidate. She said " you interviewed very well but we could not pay the salary you were asking. ". So yes, even though I stated the salary range I was looking for in the first interview, they couldn't pay it?! Why bother with a 2nd interview then? My time is valuable as I am sure every persons time is.
Besides the obvious, everything else went very well and everyone was nice.
Thank you for reviewing our interview process, our HR and department manager appreciate the feedback and will take this into consideration for the future. We wish you the best of luck on your job hunt.
