      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Springer Nature (London, England) in Aug 2024

      Interview

I received an email invitation for interviews, followed by a call with HR, and a series of video call interviews with hiring managers. Communication throughout the process with a dedicated HR.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Springer Nature (London, England) in Jul 2024

      Interview

Applied online and a few weeks later, was invited for an initial phone screen. Standard questions asked to gauge your background and experience, but nothing to difficult. Interview process was still undefined too. Recruiter shared the salary midpoint (£55K) but not the range (which would've been more helpful) and specified the final salary offer is dependant on how the candidate performed throughout the interview process - not based on skills or experience. Recruiter went away on holiday but mentioned a colleague would follow-up while they were out. Unfortunately, it's been two weeks and after sending multiple follow-up emails, they've completely ghosted. Workday still maintains application is 'in review' but not a peep from SNG. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour to ghost candidates who've interviewed.

Sorry to read your review and that you felt the process was unprofessional. To give context, we are in the midst of holiday season and the hiring manager, who is Germany based, is away for a few weeks which I believe was explained to all candidates. We were dissapointed that you withdrew your application within the 1 week period that the recruiter was away. There was no intention to 'ghost' and we would have liked to proceed our discussions further.
