Once you’ve applied, the company reaches out to schedule a half an hour or so online interview. I believe it was through Google Meet, but I don’t remember exactly. On the first interview, you meet with the company’s CEO and he asks you a few standard questions about your experience and motivations and what have you. Once the interview is over, you’re only contacted if you pass.
