Interview process was organized with well-defined steps and expectations. I was able to meet the full design and product team in 1-on-1 and group settings. The take-home didn't ask for nights and weekends worth of work, and most importantly it wasn't on SpotHero project work (who likes working for free?!). The take-home also gave me a good idea of expectations of the role and gave me insight in how the team communicated. After I passed some initial interviews and take-home, I was asked to come to the office for an in-person exercise that allowed me to explain my design process and ask more questions with the full team. Following this step, I met the CTO and was given an offer ~ a week later. Overall the process took 3 weeks or so.

Met with Hiring Manager, then the design team for a portfolio review, then another meeting with the Product and Development leads for the product. Last session was a 60 min White Boarding Session, with the designers and Product lead acting as clients and stake holders. Did not get an offer, did not get any feedback, just the standard "we decided not to move forward with you for this role. Whiteboard scenario had nothing to do with the industry or product.
