Interview
Recently applied on Indeed.com with a fashion, day spa marketing company called SMOOCH. Got an interview. It was brief & casual. I know the company is small so the small unorganized office within another office was not the first red flag for me. The lack of web presence, except the job post, was the most suspicious. Small, newish company might not have gotten to it, yet, but let's face it, not many businesses, especially marketing, strive without any online presence. Even the 9:45am appointment to shadow the following day to see if it could be a good fit was not the nail in the coffin. During the interview, the woman, blond named Kelly, told me every day starts at 9am with a morning meeting at the office so when she pushed the meeting back to 10:15am, I started getting very suspicious. Instead of continuing to Google the company with no results, I Googled her cell phone number & found this lovely Glassdoor profile for a different company, but same address, specializing in the same thing. NAIL IN THE COFFIN. This is a scam. Do not waste your time.

Very brief interview, girl in front of me had about a 3 minute interview. It was more of a conversation that anything, I probably asked more questions than they did.
