I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Splunk in May 2023
Interview
The interview process was lasting 2 months, with 5 different interview sessions. With the recruiter, a couple of engineering managers, the engineering director, and a senior engineer. In general, it was interesting, we had cool communication, and I was feeling quite confident. But after 2 months I've got a result: We are very impressed with your background, but after much deliberation, we have decided to not move forward with your application at this time. I was super angry, that such a company as Splunk can not even provide normal feedback. I would like to know how can I grow or just simply that they decided to hire another person. It's okay. But deliberation is a very powerful argument.

I applied online. I interviewed at Splunk in Oct 2020
Interview
Lengthy interview process (8 people in total) but everyone was friendly and very transparent. Majority of the discussions were around the job and hypothetical scenarios/questions on how I would approach them. Some of the interviewers definitely had challenging questions as we drilled into things, but it was a good experience overall.
