Interview
The process is too long and the HR people are not transparent enough. Don't get me wrong, people are nice, but unfortunately it is too slow hence very stressful. Applied end of July and got approached for the 1st round of interviews only in October. Got 3 phone interviews then nothing happened. I got a job offer but Splunk was my 1st choice. Tried to ask them if I was still considered and what was the remaining steps of the process so at least I can try to take a decision with a bit more information but no one updated me. I accepted the other offer and beginning of November I was told that I was selected for the final interview, on site. Then it took another 7 weeks to tell me I was the final candidate, and another 7 weeks to go through contract signature, background checks and and visa process. Yes it ended up well for me but the process is so stressful, and I can imagine how it feels if in the end, the answer is no. We are human beings, not data :) PS: once you are in, the company is really great. I couldn't be happier to be honest and this is the best company I've worked for, but got to be honest about the recruitment process.

Asked some system design questions, in which you have to think on your feet. It is technical, so make sure to think about how technology work and its implication on AI.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Splunk in May 2022
Interview
It was one of the weirdest interviews I had and was a time waste for both parties. HR reached out to me to schedule a call with the hiring manager. Apparently hiring manager was on PTO. I was scheduled to talk with one of the hiring manager's reports. He told me that he was going to take notes and show it to the hiring manager once she was back. I have not heard back for about a month after the first round. I had to email HR to ask the status couple of times. Only to receive a system email saying I was not selected. I bet after that much of a time gap and waiting they had already forgotten who the applicants were and the details let alone I never spoke to the actual person who was gonna hire.

Interview
The interview process was pretty standard and overall ok. I personally think it's best to have a product sense/execution style interview rather than behavioral ones.
I GOT GHOSTED BY THE RECRUITER AFTER 5 ROUNDS... which isn't cool because people spend a lot of time and effort on these so atleast a rejection email is nice.
