I applied online. I interviewed at Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services (Jacksonville, FL) in Oct 2020
Interview
The entire interview felt like they were trying to scare me away from the job. They said things to me like, "We offer 5 days of PTO a year, but you will never use it all." Are you kidding me? What kind of company tells possible future employees this? They also were very straight forward with the fact that they expect the person that takes this position to work 50-60 hours weekly. I know they saw the surprised look on my face when I heard this. My advice to anyone looking for a job in this industry is to never settle for a position with a company that does not care about your mental health or personal happiness. There are companies in this industry that care about work/life balance, but this is not one of them. I am honestly relieved I never received an email, call, or text from this company. It is extremely unprofessional to leave someone you interviewed with no follow up, but it is not surprising after hearing what this company expects from its employees. The person who interviewed me is probably swamped and does not have time to let me know that they went in a different direction. If they were trying to scare me, it worked. I had no desire to reach out to them after the interview. No thank you. $45,000 a year to work 60 hours a week? I would be better off in a stress-free retail position almost anywhere else. At least I would have time to enjoy my life.

If you can call that an interview...all she did was gossip about how bad other employees were and about her personal life. I could tell that was her first time being a manager

Interview
Hiring was a face to face interview and I waited to hear on the position. Supposedly they were going to hire took my information and weren't grown up enough to respond. After several attempts going to the office, phone call, interviewer still didn't respond. Don't apply to this place.
