I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SpinMedia (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2014
Interview
There was a recruiter who set me up with the hiring manager and she was really nice. I felt very welcomed. The hiring manager talked to me in her office and I never met with any other senior employees.

Question 1
If you could organize a supply closet, would you be happy or annoyed?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SpinMedia (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2014
Interview
First, I had a phone interview with a recruiter. The conversation was about my experience, what I'm looking for, salary expectations, etc. Then, I had a phone interview with a manager from the digital department followed by an interview in person with the Art Director. The whole process took about a month or two.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic questions about goals, why you want to work for the company, interests, etc.
Applied online and then had a pretty long phone interview. Then was asked to do a project. After doing the project, I never heard back. Very unprofessional process and total lack of communication. After putting time in doing a project, you would think the company would have the decency to let you know if you were moving on in the process. Apparently not. Proceed with caution and lower your expectations when you interview with these folks. They are amateurs.
