      Customer Care Representative Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Spin Master (Toronto, ON) in Sept 2014

      Interview

I applied online and then emailed back and forth with an HR recruiter. We arranged a quick phone interview. Then after that I got an in person interview which went VERY WELL. We, the recruiter and one other interviewer meshed very well. The interview was not that difficult but thorough at the same time. The recruiter (main interviewer) told me I interviewed very good in person and that I was definitely getting passed through to the next step in the hiring process but I was pretty much a shoe-in and that I she was so sold on me that I didn't even need to set up another interview with the customer service manager. I could forego that. Cool I thought to myself. I came out feeling proud like I got the job pretty much. She gave me her business card and even went as far as to tell me to call her back the next morning to confirm if the available shift hours for the job were okay. I did that...it's like almost a month later and I haven't heard back yet after two voicemails and one email within the two weeks after the interview. I was gracious and was not even dignified with a response. Even a 'No' we are going in another direction would have sufficed. But to not reply at ALL after two interviews is HORRIBLE business practise and speaks volumes about this company. I've never interviewed with a company and not got a response back at all, even if negative. I ended up feeling like I dogded a bullet after reading these reviews. The people were very friendly and cheery looking. I would say my interview process was fairly good, minus the end. As far as the company culture, during the interview I was told they were ALL about integrity. I'm not so sure about that anymore.
