I'm not sure why it took so long but it took almost a month from the time I applied online to getting an appointment for the skills test. The test was really long and consisted of 3-4 sections of basic knowledge stuff. The lady giving the test wasn't the real human resource person and it felt like she didn't know what the hell she was doing. There were a group of us there at once and after the second hour I was ready to walk out due to boredom. After awhile I just started bubbling in any answer. Good company and benefits, but long process to get hired. In the end I got the 'ol letter "thank you for you interest, unfortunately....blah,blah".
