Phone and Internet Technical Support Interview

      11 Feb 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Orlando, FL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Spectrum (Orlando, FL) in Dec 2017

      Interview

I had to go through three interviews to finally get the job. So first one was pretty informal. It was with the recruiter. He glanced at my resume. He mostly did all of the talking. He describe the position and what was expected of me. Once I am formed and that I met all the qualifications and was okay with the hours they were four candidates for, he scheduled me for my next interview. At the second interview I was greeted by a supervisor. He asked me a couple of quick technical support questions. Fairly easy. The rest of the questions were situational. The interview took about half an hour. It was very laid-back and comfortable. At the end of my interview I was told that I was being recommended for a supervisor position. I didn't hear from anybody for about 2 weeks. My recruiter then reached out to me and informed me that they were trying to figure out the time to meet with me. Another week went by before I was scheduled for my 3rd interview. At my 3rd interview I met two of the managers. Again I was asked a few technical questions and many situation type questions. I was very comfortable. About a week later I received my job offer

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Spectrum (Ontario, CA) in Feb 2018

      Interview

Pretty easy, more customer service oriented rather than technical, will ask to follow flow chart and make a decision based on given scenario. Not too difficult, almost guaranteed if you have previous customer service jobs.
