Extremely Unprofessional and Potential Scam – Avoid
The interview was highly unprofessional, with constant interruptions, personal criticisms, and a complete lack of focus on my portfolio. The interviewer seemed more interested in pushing a sales role than discussing the 3D visualizer position I applied for.
The company operates solely from a coworking space, despite claiming to have numerous interior design projects, raising serious concerns about its legitimacy."
The interviewer refused to discuss the salary structure, insisting on issuing an offer letter first. This lack of transparency is highly concerning.
The interviewer immediately requested my national identification card (IC) before any formal offer, which is a major red flag for potential identity theft.
When I questioned the purpose of my IC, the interviewer responded with manipulative language, referencing EPF/SOCSO and using unprofessional phrases like 'lol,' confirming my suspicions of unethical practices.
Advice to Management:
Immediately cease the practice of requesting personal identification documents before issuing a formal, signed offer letter.
Conduct thorough training on professional interview conduct and ethical hiring practices.
Provide clear and transparent information about compensation and company details.
