Had an onsite and phone technical interview at SpaceX Redmond office for an electrical engineering job. Got asked very technical questions ranging from analog circuit design, digital circuit design, embedded system design, and satellite avionics. The questions were designed to be answered by someone who has had practical experience in these area. All my interviewers had impressive resumes. The interviews consisted mostly of answering technical problems and little time to discuss my own experiences. However, if I took the initiative to bring up my technical experience, the interviewers would listen. It is important to realize that the interviewers will keep asking more difficult and esoteric questions to understand the limits of your knowledge.

For Initial phone interview: asked about why you applied/liked the company. Then rapid fire technical questions that were generally very basic. Some time for questions about the role and to describe a project that you worked on in the past.
