I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Charleston, SC) in Jan 2016
Interview
Filed an application online and next day received a phone to set a time for a phone interview. 4 days later had the interview which had taken about 5 minutes. Received an email two days later that since I haven't worked in the airline industry I was not considered for the job. Q, did they already have a person in mind from within the company or did the overly educated person get the job. And yes i went to college and graduated. I asked the HR person about employees and she said they have very little turnover, so i think they pulled someone from another department. BUT, BUT i have read these post and there is always hope.
Super friendly interview process, online interview , easy to talk to the guy was friendly and we can talk back and fourth it’s not all strict questions , after that I believe there is an in person interview and then a job offer but I decline due to scheduling
