Applications are dropped seasonally. Setting up an account for the employee portal will help you get emails for new available positions. When the application drops, fill it out and submit it online. Find the date of the in-person interview near the airport location you applied for and register. After your in-person interview, they may take a while to reach out to you. Most jobs do not call applicants these days. Contact a Southwest employee and make yourself memorable because you deserve good things!

New hires cannot select their schedule as it is a seniority based pool. Are you able to accept a frequently changing schedule and layovers in less exciting areas?

The interview was on zoom in 2022. It was with a recruiter and flight attendant. They were very nice and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. The whole interview took around 30 minutes.

So far, it has been moving at a great pace. I have only completed my on demand interview, and I am scheduled to attend my face to face in the near future! Great communication and transparency through the whole process. Everyone was very nice. Best thing to do is be friendly and outgoing to everyone. Took about 5 hours from start to finish
