I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines in Sept 2015
Interview
Applied 04/15. Went to the f2f at SWA Headquarters everyone had different appointment times but I only seen about 6 flight attendant candidates waiting to be interviewed that day for about the 3 hours that i was there. I first got finger printed which was super quick then I did the skills test which was super easy you go through a fake emergency exit, sit in a jump seat and fasten the seat belt, then walk down a "aisle" which is basically between 2 tables (also very quick). Then you went back to the waiting area to be interviewed for the f2f. I finally got called and went into a room by myself with 3 ppl interviewing me, a current flight attendant, the fa manager, and then the fa recruiter. I was in the hot seat. They were all nice trying to make you feel comfortable so they can see the "real you" and not the "nervous you." Asked about myself and went over your resume, asked you a lot of situational questions but pretty much all the same questions that all the other airlines ask. I also noticed whenever you made a comment they really dug deep and wanted to know more, so be prepared. I would say the f2f interview was around 45 minutes long then you leave back to the airport. Make sure your resume has the exact dates of your current/previous employers, they are really strict about that. All together the whole process took about 3 hours (i was super early to). Overall it was a good experience to make it that far out of 17000 candidates that applied for this position, I'd say I am pretty proud of myself for just making it that far. They also said you will be contacted within 2 wks by email either which way, if they wanted you or not. Then you do your background check which she said takes another 2 to 8 wks to process (if you were selected to move forward after the f2f). They take 88 ppl for the training class. I am still waited to know if I got the offer or not. I know everyone says this but BE YOURSELF try not to let your nerves get the best of you. Goodluck everyone & I hope this helps a little but.

So far, it has been moving at a great pace. I have only completed my on demand interview, and I am scheduled to attend my face to face in the near future! The online interview was great - be yourself, smile, and use the uninterrupted time to really express yourself! I'm very grateful for this opportunity and best of luck to all those applying!
