I was contacted by an internal recruiter, who scheduled a phone interview. The phone interview lasted about 20 minutes. The recruiter was friendly and easy to chat with. She can't know the ins and outs of every job there, so it was clear at times she was reading questions provided by the hiring manager. She shared a lot about the process with me, which I didn't expect. The next interview was with the hiring manager and some of the department members in person. Everyone was friendly from the moment I walked into the lobby at HQ. The recruiter I had already spoken with twice met me there and sat through the interview with me. She walked me out, gave me positive feedback and explained the next step in the process (other candidates would interview.) All through the process, she kept me informed on timelines of when to expect a call, what's next, etc.
