I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Southern Event Management (Nashville, TN) in Mar 2024
Interview
The interview process started whenI was contacted via phone call after I submitted my application on LinkedIn, there we set up a formal Zoom interview. On the day of the interview, I got a text reminder to confirm I was attending the virtual interview. When I joined the call, I realized I was interviewing with the CEO (which was not noted) and 3 other people were interviewing at the same time (also not noted). It was obvious the CEO did not take the time to look at our resumes, as he pretty much just talked about himself the whole time, and finally asked us midway through to tell him about ourselves and was very surprised about some of our answers (which he would have known if he looked at our resumes). He was a nice guy and easy to talk to, but we didn't do much talking. The job he explained was not the same job that was posted on the job listing, I was so confused.

Interview
A text message was sent confirming dates and times for the interview- it was virtual. I met with the owner of the company (a CE-Bro) that definitely didn’t know what he is doing.
Genuinely the most unprofessional group I’ve ever encountered and clearly they hadn’t bothered to look at my resume or they’d have known I was going to laugh when I heard the job description.
This is yet another “events” company that subsists on incredibly high turnover. The position is specifically listed as “not” a sales job, but that’s all they expect you to do. Specially they escort you to sell in a Sam’s Club or Walmart for AT&T:
Legislation needs to be created to punish people who falsely advertise job positions and are allowed to continue to be frauds.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself. This was his only question.

This place is literally a pyramid scheme and not worth anyones time. I wish there were more reviews left about how horrible this company is so I would have never applied. This a commision job selling AT&T plans...
