I was contacted by a Sonder recruiter via LinkedIn, and scheduled a call for the following week. The phone screen with the recruiter went well, so at the end of the call she scheduled me for a video chat with the hiring manager the following afternoon. The hiring manager was late to our video chat, so we ended up running out of time for my questions. She asked me to send them to her via email or LinkedIn message. I sent the questions, along with some ideas I had based on our conversation, in an email. After a few days with no response, I also tried sending the message on LinkedIn. By the following week I still had not heard back from her, so I emailed the recruiter to check in. Weeks later and also no response. Definitely unprofessional and frustrating for them to ghost a candidate who they initially reached out to.
