I applied online. I interviewed at Solactive (Berlin)
Interview
Invested 2 months in a promising interview process, receiving positive feedback at every stage. After the VP interview, radio silence despite follow-ups. Ghosting after such extensive engagement shows a complete lack of respect for candidates' time and effort. Transparency, even in rejection, is key to professional recruitment practices. #badhiringpractice #respectcandidates

Multiple questions related to Frontend development, internal working on React, hooks specially useEffect and other generic ones.
I applied online. I interviewed at Solactive in Jun 2020
Interview
I got rejected after 4 rounds of interviews. Overall, the interview process was normal and down to earth. Except for the last interview where it felt that one of the two hiring managers was actively looking for an excuse to cut me, everyone else was very friendly and professional. However, the process took months as the gap between the interviews was large.

Question 1
4 rounds. 1) a screening, where I had a chat with someone and was later asked to solve a leetcode easy question. 2) 3) A take-home Java project where stock prices (ticks) were coming from a message queue, were processed to generate statistics and those statistics were made available over a restful interface. 3) A chat with team members, discussing Java specifics and overall system architecture. 4) A chat with two hiring managers discussing past experience and architecture design decisions.
The interview was in four steps, which unfortunately took way longer than expected, because of long gaps between these steps.
1) First interview with leetcode easy problems.
2) Take-home assignment.
3) Interview with team engineers.
4) Interview with managers.
