- 1st interview with the recruiter
- An interview with the hiring manager and the team
- An interview with the CMO (never happened, he didn’t show up, no heads-up)
The recruiter called me after the interview with CMO that never happened, apologized and informed that the CMO has given a green light to hire me if the hiring manager had recommended so (yes, she had). So the recruiter said: “you’ll get an offer via email within 30 minutes, I’m finalizing the email as we speak.” Then he went silent for a week. When I texted him asking if I should still wait for the offer, he informed me they had to put this process on hold.
This was one of the most ridiculous recruitment experiences I’ve ever had. Interesting that the was about to send the offer (30 minutes he said, 6 pm on a Friday night by the way), then went silent and forgot to mention the process was on hold. Never got back. Just very unprofessional and a waste of my time.
