      Account Executive Interview

      13 Mar 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Dublin, Dublin
      Declined offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at SoftCo (Dublin, Dublin) in Jan 2026

      Interview

Approached by a recruiter. R1: screening call R2: online interview Final Round: in-person interview. I felt good about the company and opportunity after the initial screening call but as the rounds went I began to feel uneasy about their motivations and expectations. Some of the questions were oddnin terms of very unique scenarios that clearly have happened with previous employees and wanted to know how I'd react. A lot of questions around how'd you react to a managers feedback and how I take feedback. Clearly there were wrong answers and I didn't want to stumble ober these. Felt I was giving answers to please them rather than honest answers. Very little questionimg about ability to do the role. Weird vibe and experience.

How do you take on feedback? What is your current manager like? Do you give your manager feedback?
