I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Snapwiz in Nov 2018
Interview
I have been interviewed recently, on June 2018.
1st round was online coding test. Two questions I solved within 30 mins and submit. Both of them are correct.
After 1 week, then called me for F2F.
In F2F, a pen -paper was given to me, and I was told to write a program within 30 mins. In an optimized way I have written within 20 mins and ave submitted.
Next HR told me, that next F2F round will take place for 5mins, max 10 mins.
Next, the interviewer came, and started asking me about projects and all. Also he asked some very basic Java questions and SQL questions.
All the question-answers I have answered, nothing I said wrong or I didn't missed any.
The entire F2F took 1.5 hours, whereas HR told it would be of 5 mins round.
Anyways, I was hopeful that I must have cracked this round, because all went good only.
Now shockingly HR came and said me you are not selected, because the code the interviewer asked to write is not optimized.
I got a 1000 volt shocked!
Interviewer asked me to write only the following questions:
1. Write an example of Method overloading, method overriding
2. How to write singleton
3. A very basic RDBMS query with join.
What is teh optimize way in that?
Don't know! It was very bad for this unprofessional thing. I guess the post they are recruiting for is already closed, and they are taking these interviews just for namesake.
Felt so bad just to waste my time likewise. I could have gone to some other product based company only instead of wasting my time likewise.

4. Technical F2F interview
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Snapwiz (Bengaluru) in Jun 2018
Interview
I got a call from the HR to solve 2 questions online. once I solved them, she told me to come to Bangalore, on my own risk and expense. I reached there and they gave me a blank sheet and a question paper to write a method. I wrote the method with my horrible handwriting and gave that to them within mins. I was sure that the solution provided by me was correct, but the HR came to me and told me to leave.
I argued with them that I travelled just for that interview, so if the interviewer cannot get my writing, give me a PC so that I can type the same. Also, if possible, arrange a 1:1 so that I can explain what's written in the paper. Because they just can't reject me on the basis of my handwriting. We live in 2018 where codes are written on PC and not on paper.
But they did not listen. So please make sure you have a good handwriting before you go there. Also, they won't pay for travel, so think before you go.
