Applied through employee referral
Had HR phone screen, then phone call with hiring manager, which seemed to go well. A few weeks later, was scheduled for an in-person interview.
The in-person interview made me feel like they already had made up their mind on hiring another candidate and I was wasting my time. Of the 5 people I was supposed to interview with, 2 of them which included the hiring manager, were traveling for work and not available. I was told this the day before. If they’re traveling, this is not a last minute occurrence, why was I scheduled that date in the first place? Of the 3 people left, the morning of the interview I was told that yet another person wasn’t available and his team member was going to interview me instead. The other 2 people, one was conferencing in from the Venice office, which seemed odd but fine, and finally got a chance to speak to one person, in-person, of the original list of 5 I was given. I felt all I was asked is to talk about which vendors I use in my current role and this person took notes on that. I think they just wanted some free information.
