The interview process was broken into 3 parts - phone interview the recruiter, Zoom with the hiring manager, then an interview loop. Extremely great communication from Smartsheet until the interview loop, which where the ball was dropped completely.
A few notes:
- Great benefits, great employees - everyone I talked to was great.
- Communication regarding interviews was swift and painless for the most part. My 2nd interview was rescheduled the day of, which is fine, but definitely killed a lot of the momentum I had going into it.
- Not every person conducting interviews made sense for the position, as there were a couple people I talked to that had little to 0 overlap.
After the interview loop, I was informed I would likely hear back by the end of that week or the next. Unfortunately, it's been 3 weeks now and have only received radio silence (despite sending follow-up emails). This was especially disappointing, since I thought my interviews went well and I didn't think a company this large/reputable would "ghost" me after having gone through all of those steps.
