Initial interview with the recruiter went fine, good rapport, sounded like I had the skillset they were looking for in the position and was moved to the next round.
Took the CCAT test which went fine.
Had an interview with the hiring manager. Again, conversation went well and seemed like a good fit and I was moved to the next round.
Had a technical interview with an engineer for my third interview. It seemed to go very well and I was started to get excited about the company and the work.
And then I never heard from anyone at Smarsh ever again. Not kidding. 2 days after my third interview I emailed the recruiter asking about next steps. Nothing. Waiting a couple more days and emailed the recruiter again.... nothing.
Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior from a company that claims to have such a great culture. Thankfully my skills are in high demand and a different company (where the interview process was MUCH better and smoother) offered me a great employment package.
So, Smarsh missed out on good talent because their interview process is abysmal. And I've seen many similar stories here on Glassdoor. In the end, I'm glad I ended up somewhere where my time and my skills are valued and appreciated.
