I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Skyscanner (Edinburgh, Scotland) in Mar 2017
Interview
I was contacted on LinkedIn by a Company Recruiter, which was followed by a 20-minute standard phone-screen interview. The recruiter was lovely and schedule a 1-hour interview on Skype with the Team Lead for the Localisation Team. The last stage was an on-site interview at the company HQ in Edinburgh, which consisted of a one-hour general cultural-fit interview, a 30-min presentation on previously assigned topic, and 1,5 h of questions based on the presentation. The on-site interview process was quite intense with no breaks in between. No member of the HR was present during the on-site interviews, which seemed a little strange. Overall, an okay experience, but somewhat hectic and impersonal. Definitely not really a good fit on both ends at this stage.
