I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2018
Interview
I applied online and did the group interview process in Los Angeles. The interview consisted of a presentation from a flight attendant about SkyWest for about 35 minutes, afterwards she took questions and we were given a break. Upon return we were asked to answer "What would make you a great flight attendant?" in front of the group. There were two rooms and two groups of interview candidates. After the presentations we were released for about an hour while they reviewed our resumes and presentation. The recruiters put up a list of candidates who were granted a one-on-one interview. I moved on to the one-on-one, about 17 candidates from the room I was in moved on. During the one-on-one you are asked behavioral questions, it is pretty laid back and more of a conversation with the recruiter. It can last between 20-30 minutes. From there you are dismissed and wait for them to contact you.
It was a virtual one on one and after this process they alerted me of my training date a week later. The process was so pretty seemless and the company is good to work for but any little mistake you make you can be out.
The interview process was quick and easy. The recruiters were nice and answered all of my questions. They explained how the benefits worked and were very knowledgeable and the company.

Interview
Most of the interview involved picking apart my previous work experience. Asked a few basic questions, they are just looking for a certain look. It’s obvious. My look did not fit the part
