After the initial phone screen I was invited to come on-site to take a SQL test. I was under the impression that it would just be a test, and then I'd wait to hear back about next steps. However it was more than just a test-- I was given a 1-hour SQL exam, 15 min math quiz, and two 45 min case studies with team members. Apparently it could have been either one or two case studies depending on the availability of the team. Each one is a 45 min case, so knowing ahead of time whether it will be one or two makes a huge difference... Overall I was extremely irritated with the lack of professionalism and communication about the interview process. Also, the location of the office is in an extremely unsafe area. I would not have felt comfortable commuting there every day. In fact the company pays for your Uber/Lyft to and from the location because it is THAT unsafe. Not a good sign...
