Man where do I even start. Th lack of transparency and shadiness throughout the application process is infuriating. I’ll explain why and tell you everything that has happened so far. Got an email to meet with the recruiter about a month after the job was posted. This step went well. I then contact the recruiter after 2-3 days from our meeting since I didn’t receive any follow up regarding next steps. My message gets ignored and 1 week of radio silence happens. Then I randomly get a voicemail from the recruiter asking if I’d be available for a certain day/time with only two days of notice (I didn’t get to pick). So I agree, and meet up with two people: HM, VP. This step went well (I assume). Then, I give it a week this time before contacting the recruiter about next steps since that was the timeframe it took for the recruiter to reach out to me regarding next steps from recruiter —> HM, VP. After the 1 week timeframe, I hear nothing so I contact the recruiter. My message gets ignored again. At the time I’m writing this experience and it hopefully gets posted, it will have been about 3 weeks. To add onto this infuriating situation, I’ve been keeping tabs on the job posting on LinkedIn for a while and right before writing this post I saw that the they had changed the posting title to “Prompt Writer & AI Agent Development” all while my application still continues to remain “In Progress” in my Workday portal with no communication from the recruiter. You’re telling me you have the time to change the title on a LinkedIn job posting but you don’t have the decency to follow up regarding my status??? Even something as small as an email saying, “It’s taking the team some time to finalize decisions before moving on to the next step and you’re still under consideration” can’t possibly be so hard to do, right? Whatever though, there’s better companies.
