Sitekit interview questions

I applied for this job on LinkedIn just before the Christmas break and heard back in January which was to be expected due to the holiday season. I was greeted by a friendly front of house staff member, and proceeded to a group interview with 3 other candidates and 3 staff members from Sitekit. They were all friendly, professional, and asked us the right questions. Although not the type of interview I was used to, the group technique was very effective in picking up on the character of all the candidates in a short space of time and getting a general view of how candidates responded to relevant questions. Before attending the interview, they informed us that we were to put together a presentation to introduce ourselves, demonstrate our understanding of the business, and provide a short pitch relating to what we think an ideal marketing approach would be. I was later invited back for a second interview which was of a more traditional format, and centred around core competencies.

The interview was very unorganised and the interview panel were rude to candidates in the first group interview. It was a group interview the first time with other applicants, and everyone was told to write a pitch about themselves before the interview that they would have to present to the group. Following the pitch, you then had to present what marketing strategies you would use for the company and explain the company’s background and mission. this was for the first round of interviews, there are two.
