I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sisense in Dec 2020
Interview
Awesome - one screening. Two manager interviews, one people partner interview, and a final step with the head of account development. Pretty transparent, open to talking about past strategies and the companies direction moving forward
We’re pleased to hear you had a good experience throughout our process. We hope you have enjoyed your time at Sisense thus far!

Interview
I interviewed right before the Periscope/Sisense merger for an ADR role. Spoke with several people. To give you some context: my interview was virtual (done on Zoom). The way they had it set up was to be looking directly at a camera (to give me the vibe of eye contact) but I knew the whole time they weren't actually looking at me.
The first interview was great! We talked about expectations, onboarding, success factors. Overall great conversation. This person a great guy!
The second interview started to get uncomfortable. This person was extremely rude and sassy from the start. It felt like she was more focused on looking directly into the camera than having a conversation. She kept everything short and to the point. Was not inviting or open - made her extremely hard to talk to. And I was happy that things were cut short.
The third person... This is the epitome of my interview. This is what really threw me off. This individual cut me off mid sentence and said: "I'm sorry, this has been bothering me the whole time you were speaking, but why don't you have an accent?" He basically admitted to not being able to focus on a word I said because of how amazed he was.
What's shocking is that this individual is on a director level, you would assume he has dealt with people from all over, especially at a company as global as periscope/sisense. But hey, you know what people say about assumptions right?
I actually answered his question and explained how I learned English...
My final interview was great! The only person that didn't maintain "camera eye-contact" and took the time to look at me instead (it was a virtual interview).
