After applying. One of the CEOs reached out to me I was asked to do a video interview. The woman on the other side was so emotionless that I often thought the computer had frozen. She asked me like three questions and the interview was over in minutes. I have about 7 years experience in the industry recruiting and supervising but I was not asked any of that. There are also some ”training classes” they put their staff through. Everything seems like a SCAM.

Met with 3 people. 1. HR/people: Very surface level superficial style questions. A little disappointing considering they seem like a cool interesting start up. Was very friendly but the conversation didn’t seem genuine. Just basic screening questions. 2. Team lead: Seemed very cool, enthusiastic and passionate. Down to earth chat. 3. Co founder: So disappointed with this. From the first minute it felt like this guys didn’t want to be there. Low energy. Didn’t want to engage with me. Hardly looking at the screen. Multiple times removing cap and rubbing his hair as if he was tired with this. Asked questions about what was next for single sprout, how they are combating the rougher market. He said “the company bare broke even this year” and went off on a not so positive explanation of the company’s situation. Very strange. Definitely didn’t seem happy or excited about his own company lol. -Seemed like there was a lack of experience and direction from leadership on how to improve the billing. -For a recruiting company they were terrible at sticking to their timeline with feedback. I had to chase after every call. After meeting the cofounder and him saying they would circle up with the team and get back to me I wasn’t surprised they forgot/didn’t care. Considering they can’t track their own internal candidates - I’d be concerned how they treat their clients candidates.
