      Front Office Manager Interview

      23 Feb 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Simply Lit in Feb 2023

      Interview

Horrible. Thought I was receiving a call to set up an interview, just to find out I was actually being thrown into a phone interview. Shawn sounded unamused and actually yawned while I was answering their questions. Asked questions I don't believe were their business or relevant to the job. At the end, they let me know they had "like a thousand people apply" and pretty much acted like I was just a name to check off their list to tell a higher up that they "interviewed" me. I should have hung up mid-call.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The job was for a front office position...but I was also asked if I could do multiple skills like graphic design, web development, blog writing, social media, videography, photography, scheduling, etc. I was also asked about my husband's career...not sure why that was relevant to my work.
