I applied online and completed a very detailed questionnaire - with some CS-related tasks. After submitting the application, I didn't hear from them until AFTER 1 YEAR. And no, I'm not kidding. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
They finally reached out after one year and asked if I was still interested. So I booked a meeting and had an interview with the HR lady. After the interview, I was given a task to complete, which I did and sent back. Again, I was ghosted for another 3 months! No kidding!
In 3 months, HR reached out, apologized, and asked if I was open for a second interview. This time it will be a deep dive into my past experience (which was exactly what the previous interview was about BTW). So I booked another time. The second interview ended up being almost the same as the first - the same questions about my experience, my experience working with my bosses, etc. At this point, I was disappointed, but I just kept going.
Next - in 24 hours - I was asked to provide the details of my ex-bosses/colleagues I mentioned in the interview - they were a total of about 8 people. I did this the next day and sent it over.
Over the course of 2-3 days, she reached out to most of them. But she ended up ghosting 2 others. Mind you I had them send her reminders, but she never responded. She finally completed the calls a week later.
Now, remember the task I was asked to do over 1 year ago? I was asked to redo it again! Okay, at this point you're probably wondering why I kept going. Well, I just wanted to see how this whole thing would end. I sent several reminders - 3 to be precise - to grant me access to the free account to complete the task, but I didn't hear back. In fact, I never did! I just kept trying to log in until I got in.
I completed the task. And in 24 hours..... I got a regret mail. Yup. They stated that I didn't have enough experience... haha... I have 5 years!
The companies reviews are great on here, but they seriously need to revamp their recruitment process.
