I was contacted by the Lead Recruiter at Simple Habit via LinkedIn about the opportunity. At the time, I wasn't actively seeking new opportunities, but the role and company were interesting to me so I took an initial phone screen to hear more about what they were looking for.
From there, I had a phone call with the hiring manager, where we spoke a bit more tactically about skills and experiences relevant for the role. The following week, I came onsite for a series of interviews with leads across a few other functions. There was an on-site activity as well as some technical and behavioral questions. No major surprises and the hiring manager and recruiter were both clear on what the process would involve, which I appreciated.
After my onsite, I was invited to come back in the office for one final behavioral interview with Yunha, the founder. Prior to my final onsite, the team provided me with feedback from my previous interview round, which I found to be a really thoughtful and productive conversation and sold me on just how fully aligned to the organization's values each member of the team is.
Overall, my interview process was really positive. The process was quick with consistent and proactive updates from their team on the status of my application.
