The hiring process took place in 3 stages. First stage lasted half an hour over Skype with HR, the second stage was more of a technical rundown with people from different teams at SimScale. After that I was given a couple of tasks that involved programming in Java and a task on the simulation side which required a conceptual understanding of the problem at hand.
In the final stage, I was invited to the Munich office for a series of interview and to work further on the Simulation task.
After this, the decision for the application was made known to me in about a week over another SKype call.
The whole process was well streamlined and more importantly, the experience of it was enriching.
