I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Siemens Digital Industries Software (Pune) in May 2017
Interview
I Interviewed for the position of software developer, in the field of CFD post-processing software development (Simcenter 3D). First round of Telephonic Interview followed by personal interview. telephonic round was about self introduction and current work experience. Second round was about my previous work experience. Develop an algorithm to find the points of the stream line(path line) within the cell, while crossing the cell and in the next cell. this single question took almost one and half hour of discussion. interviewers were supportive. After this discussion they gave me one logical question. up-to this point i answered most of there questions. Now they asked me C++ question, that time i was working in Python, and i 2 years back i had worked in C. so i could answer even simple questions. But still interviewer accepted that i don't have any experience in C++. But as a part of company's standard interview process they gave me question paper of 1hr time span with 50 questions of 100 marks. questions were simple but i had no experience in C++. later they told me they hired someone who had experience in C++.
