I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shuster Group in Jul 2025
Interview
2 interviews, first one over zoom and the second in office. Both felt largely the same, except they had a partner video-conference in for the in-office interview. It felt like I was trying to sell myself to the partner, which put me on the spot, especially considering the entry level nature of the job I applied for. No offer after the interview and no response to my follow-up email until I sent a second email a few weeks later.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Shuster Group (Jersey City, NJ) in Feb 2016
Interview
Applied through a recruiter. Was brought in after a month of speaking on and off, generally very difficult to get ahold of their HR/CEO's wife. Spoke with Both CEO and HR about previous marketing campaigns and general technical skills.

Question 1
Where do you believe your skills best fit within the company?
Thank you for your review. The process does take time, especially for Director of Marketing position. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email us.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Shuster Group (Jersey City, NJ) in Nov 2018
Interview
Applied and heard back 3 weeks later. Then had an interview with HR and the CEO. Literally didn't hear back for a month, probably reached out on 4 occasions and then they asked me to come back one more time.
Waited 2 hours before speaking with anyone. Met with HR which was a complete joke, she basically just bragged about how great the company was and didn't ask me any questions. Afterwards met with the ceo where yet again just bragged about how great the company was and maybe asked 2 questions about some legal work I've done.
While I was made an offer, I was able to tell immediately that this company clearly doesn't appreciate people and was not worth working for.
GLASSDOOR reviews were completely right about Shuster.
