      Received an email to set up a phone call with the recruiter. I thought the call went well but I guess it didn't. It felt like my experience and what I'm looking for aligned with the role and company. The person told me they would be following up with me by a certain date but they did not. I sent a follow up email and text thanking the recruiter for their time and consideration but did not get any reply. I've worked in talent acquisition before and I would at least tell a candidate that they will not be moving forward and why. The recruiter said this company really cares about its employees but the fact that they did not even follow up to reject me says a lot.

      Interview

      I went through four rounds of interviews. The interviews I felt really comfortable talking with everyone and they really wanted you to get to know them and Shopmonkey. Everyone was really warm and open and asked in-depth questions to really see if I was a good fit for the company which I really liked. I could see they are really strong and supportive as a team and really encourage each individual to shine. I was also impressed that they have God in the heart of what they do.

      One of the interview questions that really struck me was where did my customer service experience come from, not in terms of job experience but the moment when I really understood and wanted the customers to have a good experience. I felt this question was very insightful and deep.

      The recruiter sent a link for a 30 min phone interview, with dates to interview three weeks later. As the three weeks went by with no follow-up, the day of the interview, the recruiter called five minutes late. Recruiter apologizes, while seeming a bit unorganized, and rushed. After the interview, recruiter said I would get a call from HR regarding next steps of hiring process. I waited almost another three weeks until I got an email saying I wasn’t selected for the position. The same position opens about two weeks later on Indeed which applied. The same recruiter sends a link for a date and time to interview which is another three weeks out like the previous time. About a week before the interview, I get an email from the recruiter stating HR had selected another candidate in the final stages and the candidate accepted this morning. What about the other candidates?
