I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shopify (Montreal, QC) in Nov 2016
Interview
It began with a round of interview roulette - 4 people interviewing me in 5-minute increments for a total of 20 minutes. All behavioural questions. After that, an in-person hour-long interview which was more standard.
This was 2020. There was zero diversity amongst the full team. The interview process was extensive and slow. The people did not seem very engaged to me as a candidate.
