Interviewed with Transport Manager(who I liked) and 2 people from HR(who I didn't like). Not really a lot of questions about my qualifications(which are many; 18 years accident free, OTR and Local, Dry Van, Refer, Tanker, HAZMAT in all 48 states) but they repeatedly asked "gotcha" questions designed to make the interviewee uncomfortable, like "when is a time you made a mistake at work?" and the like. After 2 or 3(maybe 4?) of these I'm wondering if I should start making up stuff to satisfy these questions...I really don't make a lot of mistakes at work.
It seemed like the interview was designed more to make you feel defensive and like you would be very lucky if given any offer at all rather than professionals meeting to decide if employer and employee are a good fit. I'm too valuable to work for companies like that. I've since heard that they like to fire people over little stuff so I'm glad I didnt take it.
