      Marketing Position Interview

      21 Aug 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Minneapolis, MN
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shea (Minneapolis, MN)

      Interview

Went through 4 interviews, 2 times with the principal manager, once with the VP and once with the CEO. All were great people to talk to but things got annoying towards the end. Just like the previous person mentioned, I was fully qualified for the position. Was chosen as 1 out of over 200 applicants and was down to the final between me and one other. They said they were going to call my references and make a decision by the end of the week. They never called the references. (I asked my references.) I waited forever for a call and ended up hearing back from another job offer I got—that was incredible. I was irritated that Shea didn't even have the audacity to give me a call about them going with another candidate. That made me confident with the company I said "yes" to because I honestly don't think anyone should work for an employer that can't even make a phone call to its candidates about their final decision.

      Question 1

Questions were fairly simple and similar to those elsewhere. A lot of situational behavioral questions at the final interview.
